Location: Waters of Marine Area 1
Reason for action: Marine Area 1 is expected to reach its coho quota by the end of the day Monday, Aug. 24.
Additional information: Columbia River Control Zone is closed to fishing for salmon, except open to fishing from the north jetty when waters of Marine Area 1 or waters of the Columbia River from Buoy 10 to the Megler-Astoria Bridge (Buoy 10) are open to fishing for salmon. Salmon minimum size and daily limits on the north Jetty follow the most liberal regulations from either Marine Area 1 or the Columbia River Buoy 10 fishery (from Buoy 10 to the Megler Astoria Bridge).
